EasyWood

Interactive

The interactive command contains various functionalities that are supposed to help the user with the creation o modification of a geometry.

Indeed, EasyWOOD prompts some  previously illustrated commands again which some correction factors can be added with the aim of correcting point digitization errors.

The correction factors are set in the interactive configuration dialog box that opens by pressing the  button.

Each item will be illustrated in detail hereafter:

It has the effect of creating a line passing through the two points, that are selected in space with a mouse click or by entering the X,Y coordinates in the special dialog box.

The user-defined points are displayed with the following graphic representation: .

It enables the creation of an arc passing through three points.

After selecting two points, it creates an arc tangent to the latest entity created in a geometry.

After selecting a point on the geometry, EasyWOOD draws the entity that actually radiuses the geometry to the selected point.

Beware… after each filleting request, EasyWOOD prompts a dialog box for entering the fillet radius value.

As it can be noticed, EasyWOOD modifies the entity path while carrying out the radius, however leaving the selected points active; they will disappear only after confirming the operation by pressing ok.

When the  button is selected, the correction factors are disabled, consequently making the execution of some operations impossible.

Referring to the previous example, the radius request would not be met, obtaining the following result:
