Properties of Engraving

Sinking:                              it specifies the machining sinking value into the blank piece.

The sinking parameter must be specified by entering positive values for "penetrating" the piece. Where the path lenght is too small for the two bits to carry it out, such sinking will be suitably reduced in automatic mode.

Precise Path:                      It points out the precision of the workmanship on the run. The precision is planned by the part program.

Carter:                                it points out the position of the present carter on the head. It can assume the values of  Up, Medium o Down.

Advanced Properties.

Work side:                          machining work side. It indicates that the tool must keep right, left or in the middle of the path.

Lead-in:                              it indicates the lead-in type to use in the machining operations.

It is possible to define an attack “vertical” or “oblique”. It is possible to specify the length of default to use in the exit besides, for this value it is possible to define automatic and to leave the calculation of the optimal parameter to the software.

Lead-out:                           it indicates the lead-out type to use in the machining operations.

It is possible to define an exit "vertical” or “oblique”. It is besides possible to specify the length of default to use in the exit, for this value it is possible to plan "automatic" and to leave the calculation of the optimal parameter to the software.

Overlapping:                       it is the overlapping value between the lead-in and the lead-out points of the path (expressed in mm or inches); it is activated only on closed paths.
