Cutting machining

By selecting a blade kit, a dialog box made up of three different sections is displayed: tool compensations or Machining Side, Transmission side, machining type and then the relevant buttons.

 

Work side

 

                   When the tool position is centred on the profile.

                   When the tool position is on the left of the profile.

                   When the tool position is on the right of the profile.

 

Angular transmission side

 

                      The transmission is positioned on the left of the profile.

 

                      The transmission is positioned on the right of the profile.

 

Machining type

Here you can choose the Cut type  Internal, External, Convex:

Internal

Internal: the lead-in is inside the raw piece.

 

External

External: the lead-in is outside the raw piece.

 

 

 

 

 

Convex

Convex: when there’s a recess (see picture 217) that can’t be done by blade,  the blade goes straight.

 

For each machining you can define the following parametres

Standard                    Lead-in outside the raw piece, lead-out in blade centre.

Lead in/out in blade centre                  This machining begins and finishes in blade centre.

Sharp edge bottom to top This machining is done by blade from bottom to top.

Sharp edge in the end bottom to top The blade works the bottom of the piece, from bottom to top.

Turn around               The blade works turning around the part of the piece that has to be machined.

Blade from bottom                 This machining is done starind with blade under the piece.
